For every new year we're all accustomed to make a few goals for ourselves. Although some of these goals are probably the usual, i'd still like to state them for the sake of remembrance.
1. As my parents are getting older and their health are of issue, I'd like to become a more responsible daughter. I'd like to fix my character in a manner where their worrying for me occurs less, and my childish ways won't piss them off.
2. For the sake of my parents and future relationship with my brothers I'd like to become more respectful towards them. Although a lot of the times I tend to believe that respect should be earned, I think it is my duty as a little sister to accept my brother's flaws and tend to look at this perfections rather than his imperfections. As for my manner of speaking, it is important that I fix my tone and vocabulary used towards my brothers for the sake of my parents and the limited Korean tradition we've been taught to pass down the generations.
3. And as to my friends, I often see that I need to be more of a listener. I hope that in the best interest I can become more understanding and less of an outspoken person.
4. Academically, I'd like to divert more of my life towards my academics rather than my social life. If everyone gets one semester to fuck up, I believe i just had mine. This year I expect to own up to my parents expectations but most of all my expectations.
5. Every year i try to make an exercising routine to keep myself fit. However, this year I really hope i can manage a consistent exercising routine. Primarily since I need leg exercising more than other people, and secondly so I can be healthy and looking FINEEEEE.. lol jk
6. Last but not least, to become a snowboarding guru! lol.. no not really, but to have like 1% of Hanna Teiter's boarding skills will do it. This years boarding goals: ground 180, jump 180, riding switch, jump grab.
HAPPY NEW YEARS! to everyone and thanks to all those who've been there and are still there. I am blessed
